God Made them Cute for a Reason

Some friends got a new puppy yesterday. A black lab tentatively called Hunter....he is just gorgeous...a bundle a huggable puppyness.

We were lucky enough to be asked to look after him today for a few hours. It's amazing how thoroughly entertaining such a little wiggly thing can be. The kids of course were completely in love with him and there was much debate about whose turn it was to look after him and play him.

During the course of our puppysitting I was reminded just why it is God made these little guys so darn cute. A big puddle left on the floor and a trail of little wet paw prints!

    Oh my gosh, he is so cute! How true, they do need to be cute because they sure are a lot of work!

    Here's to hoping the only puddle is in your house, not mine:) I know that's very wishful thinking, but a girl can hope. That would be why there is no new carpet in our home yet!

    They ARE cute . . . but A LOT of responsibility! Our "puppy" is now 9 months old and could demolish a house within 30 minutes! Thank heavens she's an outside dog. ; )

    Puppies are the cutest!!! Hunter looks like he's doing the Elvis lip thing in the second picture :-) He's so adorable!!!

    I have said many, many times that the only reason my dogs made it through puppy-hood alive is because they were so damn cute.
    Lab puppies are evil little creatures.

    awwwwww!!!!!!! I promise I won't tell anyone if you ship him over to us!!!!! please????!!!! his adorableness makes up for the puddles, footprints and anyhting else an adorable, black, little ferral cutie like that dog could do! hehehe
