Family Time

Nothing beats family time. There is a lot to be said for just hanging out and enjoying each other's company. The kids were all on school holidays so they all spent their time keeping each other busy and entertained. 

Nothing made my heart happier than to have a house full of knitting companions.

There were rides in Uncle Pete's Lotus

Crazy contraption building. The riding of these contraptions was not for the faint hearted either. Apparently the caution tape was an addition to improve the otherwise non existent safety!

Loads of beach time despite the fact that it is winter.

An impromptu soccer game. Not sure who won but there were lots of tumbles in the dirt, a few injuries and lots of laughs.

A trip to Darling Harbour rounded out our time in Sydney. 

We visited the Aquarium and reacquainted ourselves  with our least favorite Australian - the shark,
