It's starting to seem cliche but there are so many milestones lately, I can hardly keep up. Friday was Ciara's 18th birthday and to celebrate we took off for the weekend to Seattle. While we were there we went and saw a good friend graduate from UW. Christine Gregoire the former governor of Washington state gave a great commencement address and we watched nearly 6,000 people graduate with bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees. The atmosphere was great, the weather was perfect and the venue at Husky stadium was amazing. Such a wonderful weekend.
Of course it started off with the customary birthday pancake
She took the boys to school in a car that just cried out " birthday"
Then at UW we spent some time tailgating...

Phew, next weekend it's off to Bozeman. I think I need a vacation!
