Have you ever had friends that you can say you have known for a lifetime???
Throughout my life people have come and gone. That seems to be a natural part of things. I've met new people , lost track of others. The departure of some people have left me grief stricken....some others I have been quite glad to see the back of. And yet with all the ups and downs, the changes in life there are some people that I cannot imagine life without.
Last night we met up with these friends...people we really have known for a lifetime. They have been part of my life since elementary school days or before. And they never seem to change....Isn't it wonderful in an ever changing world...that some things remain the same!

ReplyDeleteIt is so fun to reconnect with long time friends. I was able to do that this summer and it was like we'd never been apart. It was great. Enjoy your visit!!

It's so very nice to be able to reconnect with friends like these from time to time.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it make you feel YOUNG and ENERGETIC again?! I think we all need get togethers like these from time to time, just remind ourselves that we were really young and energetic at some point in our lives.

I have been looking at your pictures of you and your friends. It is nice to have friends for decades. You are able to see the ups downs, wrinkles, reconnect. You are one lucky lady to keep those friends and than come back to your new ones you have mad since you have been here in the states. You cannot move back.. I will not let you!!! ;-)
