When Will It End???
As a woman I reserve the right to change my mind.
Now having come from a country where snow is rare I have always delighted in seeing those little flakes floating from the sky...in fact I can say that the very first snow fall of the year makes me giddy with delight...(yes...I'm pretty easy to please) but after months on end of the fluffy stuff I'm ready for a change. This morning we woke up to more snow...now COME ON...this is supposed to be spring break. But no spring in sight here. These pictures were taken this morning on my front lawn. The kids had a ball, out there playing in it...making snow men and snow forts....it doesn't seem to worry them too much. But I'm ready for the sun...SO READY!
Oh, and I thought I'd better mention that my super sophisticated random number drawing system has selected a winner of my giveaway...the lovely Kyla at The Kreative Life . Thanks for all your wonderful comments!

It's about time you viewed the snow with the same sort of ambivilence as us locals!! ;) Some Spring Break, huh?!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Kyla on being the BIG WINNER!! :)
Donna . . . the snow makes for a great backdrop for photos, but I know what you mean. It's APRIL for crying out loud . . . we're still hovering between winter and spring here, but I'm hoping spring is just around the corner.
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't believe I'm a winner! WOW! I'll do my best to get with you this weekend. I'm playing a little catch up from my "time off". ; )
Thank you SO VERY MUCH for such an awesome giveaway!
I'll pray that the sun comes out for you soon!
Oh no! lol.
ReplyDeleteI used to love snow when I was a child. We lived in Madison WI and it would get so deep there. We'd build snowmen and go sledding....
Now I prefer places where there's no snow.
I hope it all melts soon.
I feel for you. we don't have snow but i'm ready for the sun to shine. it's been really raining and cool here in the south. i see that next week we are going to have temps in the 30s and 40s.
ReplyDeletea tleast the kids enjoy it. fun photos.
Congratulations, Kyla!
ReplyDeleteI feel for you, Donna. That is just not right!
The snow hit here Wednesday morning and it snowed ALL day long. Thankfully it didn't stick around long - it's all gone now.
ReplyDeleteUm, yeah, I am soooo done with winter. Where are the flowers? Where is spring?!!
ReplyDeleteAt least the kids had fun!
Oh no it doesn't let up.
ReplyDeleteI have to say I was disappointed when I discovered snow is actually hard and wet, not soft and fluffy, as it appears to be.
