Eagle Watching

IMG_0464

Matt took us to Coeur d'Alene today to see the Bald Eagles.

Over the winter months the eagles come to CDA to feed off the spawning salmon. You can read more about it here .

It was cold and snowing....and totally worth it.

Armed with our cameras and binoculars we watched these majestic birds soar.

They take my breath away.  They really are just the most beautiful creatures.

  2. You were just minutes away from my parents house. When we drive out there in the winter we always seen a ton of them. It's fun to to see all the photographers and bird watchers out there on the side of the road. :)
This Christmas during our present opening they were swooping down by my parents deck. I think they were hunting Chihuahaus. ;)

Looks like a great adventure for your family. :D
